To be a Judge Dredd artist is the best "job" you could give me. What a thrill to be able to step into that world, let my imagination do it's thing, scribble those imagined images out onto a blank sheet of paper (med DC textured board to be precise) and then actually get paid for the privilege! Ha ha ha ha ha!! (slightly insane laughter)
I'd love to show the whole page one here but I think it best left partially secret...don't want to give too much away.
As you can see, I'm going for the blue line approach this time and I'm pondering the notion of not inking. We'll see.

NO! Ink! YOU MUST INK! You are so wonderful at it, and it would be a shame to deprive the world after the tease you gave us with Big Robots. In order to do such a thing, you'd have to be far more evil than Judge Death. Please say it ain't so!

Gary sir...I always find it really silly that 2000AD and the Megazine isn't available in the U.S of A. Why IS that I wonder.
I'm sure the UK would welcome you with open arms...or at least a good body search!

Daniel...cheers buddy! We'll see...

thewrist...purely imagination on Dredd. I like to use ref for other work, like in my Batman days, but I've always loved jobs where you can completely make things up from scratch.
