Prog 1640 has landed...

2000AD prog 1640 is out with the first part of the four part Dredd story I've just finished...actually I still have two pages to do so you can imagine the heat I'm feeling despite the cooling rain today. This image is from one of the later parts where I had the very welcome opportunity to do a (mostly) full Dredd with an MC1 background. Can you tell I had fun?!

(the image is a scan of the blue pencil stage, before I've inked and coloured)

Your strip looks the business in print... All the details you're cramming in really make it a joy to look at.

I usually flick through the 'galaxy's greatest' in WH Smiths and dismiss it as rubbish. Your work tempted me to buy 2000AD this week, for the first time in a long, long time... and I wasn't dissapointed.
