And for my next trick...Batman!

I've finally been given the green light to announce my next big project, hinted at in my last post. So, starting in May this year I'll be working on a "high-end Batman project" for DC. I can't say at this time who'll be writing it suffice to say that I'm extremely exited to be working with him/her and can't wait to start.
My ambition at DC was always to work on something "special", not a monthly or small one shots but a book of significance, a book that might keep selling way after it's publication. Something I could sink my teeth into, something I could be proud of. This, my friends is that book. So give me a few weeks and I'll tell you all about it!

"Him/her"? So it's a transexual? Pre-op or post-op? A hermaphrodite? Dammit, can't think of any hermaphrodite comic writers. Except a couple of dudes/whatever, but they're under exclusive contracts at Marvel.

Well, well so are you gonna create a creative graphic novel like "Joker"? Your "Arkham Asylum" was really cool, and now you could also team-up with Alan Grant and create serious, dark story.
And as I can see in that picture, it's gonna be really vicious, so good luck.

Cheers Dylan. That image is taken from Legends of The Dark Knight #100, the second book DC ever published that wasn't inked. (the first being part of a Sandman story)

I have to confess, I keep coming back just to look at this image. I am in love! Reminds me a little of the work of Frederic Dorr Steele.

I hear your confession Ian, you are forgiven. ;)

I should clear this up...the image is from issue 100 of Legends of the Dark Knight and shows how I'll be approaching this new project.

I was reminded of your amazing art by your recently reprinted Robin story from Legends of the Dark Knight. Very excited to see you coming back to Batman.
